  League Management Company is a platform created in the year 2012 to monitor the Nigeria Premier League,the company wasn't generally accepted by soccer loving Nigerians due to some errors committed by previous organization monitoring the league.


  LMC after some years of existence,has been able to bring the best out of players,coaches,management of each clubs and even brings out the best out of the overall football body in the country-Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)
This governing body have been able to upgrade the league in some Areas.

  The first step taken by the company was to sanitize the League by putting in place rules and regulations to guide players,coaches and other parties who have any connection with the league. The  league management company didn't only make laws,it also ensure that there is a great punishment for those that go against each law.

The league management company prove to many fans that they truly mean business by banning Sunshine Stars FC from playing their home matches in akure due to fans terror,and thereby making the team pay a fee of 30 thousand naira to the board.
Many clubs such kano pillars,Enyimba,Rangers  had also have their own share of punishment because they go against the rules and regulations. Once other club sees this,they control themselves and their fans. This action by LMC is yielding results as  there are now matches played without riot and trouble,many fans now find it save to  watch live match in the stadium due to the fact that life is now safer in the stadium than what we used to know.

  Another impact of LMC on the country's football league is the fear factor created in the minds of referees, gone are the days when referees officiated in favour of home team because they know the havoc that fans are capable of causing.Referees now officiate with the fear that LMC's  hammer of judgement is hanging somewhere if  he is bias in his judgement throughout the match. This fear factor is yielding a great result internationally as for the first time in a longtime, a Nigeria referee is been appointed as one of the referees for CAF champions League. Nigeria referees are now being considered for major tournaments throughout the continent.

Another Aspect that has witness the wind of change blown by LMC is the player's welfare.LMC took it upon itself to look into how players are been treated by  different clubs in the league,once the board suspects a foul play in the player's treatment by clubs, they immediately call the club to order and if the club refuse,they waste no time in punishing the club.

LMC now monitor the transfer of players from one club to another so as to ensure there won't be contractual disagreement in the future.Shehu dikko led board so far is living up to expectations, they have not promote the league,but also made it more competitive and more interesting to the extent that only 5points separate the second and the 5th position on the league's log.
If LMC maintain this rate at which they operate, sooner or later NPFL will be compared to its counterpart in Europe and other advanced continent.
