  Since life is found every where and is in constant need of protection and promotion, the supernatural is every where to do that. Since there is tight competition in seeking a fuller life, the deities are multiplied to fit the many  customers. There is a diety for fecundity, one for long life, for success in war, for good hunting. Good fishing ang good luck ; and there are several dangers to life such as small pox, plague, and so forth. Some of this where defied humans who in one or several spheres of life which now w they are expected to communicate to there client.  What ever manifest greater life, be it huge tree or huge animal, a huge mountain, lake or stone, is conceived by having a supernatural powers in it.


If a diety  worked for you, you continue to have recourse to it, if not, you search for another. There was no rivalry over deities. They were as many the community wanted
