He came down from the heaven in order to save us by reconciling us with God the father. So that we might know Gods love and have him for our mode of holiness " ( jn. 3:5,410) . Jesus is one with God the father and the holy spirit through the trinity.
Jesus is the life upon which all other life depends (jn. 1:3 14:16).
He is the " word of God" (Jn. 1:2) the one true mediator between God and man.
He is the creator and judge of heaven and earth and of all that is them (, John 1:1-4) . Most importantly , Jesus Christ is the one who saves us from our sins by rising from the dead, Jesus destroyed death and " gave himself for the redemption of all" (1 Tim. 2:6) . "In Christ we shall be made alive" (1 core. 15:22) " and of his kingdom there shall be no end (lk. 1:33). By humbling himself to walk the Eartha and suffer like one of us, Jesus alone shows the true dignity and greatness of every human being and how Mich God cares for every person in the world.
To atone for the sins of all mankind, Jesus had to be God to provide the infinite and perfect sacrifice necessary to cover over all the terrible sins of the world. At the same time Jesus had to be a man to present this worthy sacrifice on behalf of mankind.
